La ZAC des Groues est un projet de renouvellement urbain, qui a pour objectif de développer un quartier de vie attractif au niveau du futur pôle gare de Nanterre. Les conditions du sol (fortement artificialisé et pollué) et la volonté de créer un quartier où le bien-être, la biodiversité font partie prenante de l’identité, impose une méthode de conquête écologique avec un dispositif d’écosystème vertical. Le concept se traduit par des puits de vie, bosquets de 10 à 15 mètres de large plus ou moins dense, permettant une intensification écologique sur toutes les strates du sous-sol au ciel.

The ZAC des Groues is an urban renewal project, the aim of which is to develop an attractive living area around the future Nanterre station hub. The conditions of the land (highly artificial and polluted) and the desire to create a district where well-being and biodiversity are an integral part of the identity, imposes a method of ecological conquest with a vertical ecosystem system. The concept takes the form of wells of life, copses 10 to 15 metres wide of varying densities, allowing ecological intensification on all strata from the subsoil to the sky.
